Maple trees come in various types. We sell Asian (Japanese), Hybrid, Norway, Red, Silver, Sugar, and Tartarian tree types. All maple tree varieties are known for their flawless fall foliage, maple syrup, and overall classic beauty in the landscape. Its mature height is around 60 feet tall. Maple trees belong to the "Acer" genus, which means "sharp" in Latin, referring to its iconic maple leaf shape. Its highly prized wood is commonly used for musical instruments, baseball bats, cutting boards, pool cue shafts, and bowling pins. Given their delicate beauty, they are not difficult to grow. Maple, Acer, thrive in fertile, moist soil that is well-drained. They like partial to full sun. Regular pruning is not necessary unless it's the Japanese type.
