Cleveland Pear trees are tough and hardy, this compact, conical tree has rounded, glossy green leaves that turn reddish purple in autumn. The branches are hidden by beautiful white blossoms in spring, at which time the tree is clearly visible from afar. They grow best in full sun and have moderate growth. Their mature size is 40 feet high and 20 feet wide. They like full sun, well-drained loamy soil, that's not overly wet. when first planted make sure to water around once a week for 30 minutes. Once they are established they require little water. Pruning is not recommended for this tree.
