Lilac in tree-forms have all the same benefits of its bushy counterpart, but in a more uniform and compact form. They work best if planted along in the landscape. Their flowers still make excellent cut flowers. It's relatively low maintenance and should only be pruned after flowering. It will attract plenty of butterflies to your yard. It matures to around 7 feet tall. It's suggested to plant low-growing perennials underneath as it has a long and narrow trunk. It likes full sun and dry to moist soil. It's tolerant to most soils and pollution, which makes it a wonderful plant for urban landscapes.
