Perennial coreopsis carries a profusion of bright yellow daisy-like flowers over a long period, generally through summer into the fall, though some do flower in spring. The plants are easy to grow. Plant in bold clumps in a mixed border. They prefer open, sunny position right through the day, with little shade. Performs best in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter, but it will grow in poor soils too. Over-rich soil may produce a profusion of foliage with poor flowering.
