A lot has changed since W. G. McKay first started growing
fruit trees on 20 acres north of Waterloo, Wisconsin. The most notably changed,
is the increase in demand for high quality diverse plant material. Over our 100
plus years of business our propagation department has developed numerous
varieties of plants. By propagating our own plants, we're able to involve
special northern propagation techniques that combine the beauty and hardiness
characteristics the Midwestern climate demands.
McKay is servicing our
customers with 21st century technology, as propagation techniques continue to
change. New plant material is continually brought to market that is disease
resistant to provide better service to our customers.
