Serviceberry - (Tree)

The Serviceberry, Amelanchier, tree is great for gardens with limited space. This a great tree to standalone in the landscape or perhaps your property line, where it can be enjoyed by neighbors or passersby. Its fruit is extremely showy and will attract birds to your landscape. The bloom time starts in April and is a bold white against the dark green leaves. It likes full sun to partial shade. It's low maintenance and has great fall color as well. They grow best in medium moisture, well-drained soil loamy soils. Should be planted in zones 3-8. Mature growth is only 20-25' tall x 15' wide.
