The Larch, Larix decidua, is a deciduous confier evergreen that is known for its large size and beautiful yellow fall color. It can grow to 60-100ft high with a pyramidal shape. The shape does become more board and irregular as it matures. It grows best in moist, full sun areas. Its best performance is in tempature conditions that are similar to its native habitat, which mirrors cool summers and cold winters.
