McKay Nursery Co. is proud to be part of the “green industry,” because we are passionate about creating beautiful and sustainable environments. We take our role in the industry seriously, and we strive to be leaders in business and beyond. McKay Nursery is a proud member of the American Nursery and Landscape Association. We are also active in several nursery and landscape associations in the Midwest.

Staying connected with other growers enables us to keep abreast of new developments in the industry and new trends in landscape design. We benefit from the collective knowledge base of the entire industry, and we can share our knowledge with others. We learn from other growers about a wide variety of issues, ranging from how to deal with plant hardiness and new pesticides to dealing with new regulations and possible pest problems. As a group, we are better able to respond in a more efficient way than we could individually. And by sharing our knowledge and experiences, we can help promote growth of the industry.

We believe that industry involvement and leadership are vital to building a business that succeeds in delivering products and services that exceed our customers’ expectations.
