In 1897, W.G. McKay planted a seed that became McKay Nursery Company. The foundation was a strong belief in "honest business practices, fair prices and the highest possible quality in our products."

Succeeding Mr. McKay in 1959, Karl Junginger brought 32 more years of exceptional commitment to our customers' success.

To assure the continuation of that extraordinary commitment, we became employee owned in 1984. Now there are 150 "owners" in McKay Nursery Company who realize your successful plantings must be the foundation of their success.

Today, McKay Nursery Company is a Midwest leader producing over 550 varieties of quality plants on 1800 acres in South Central Wisconsin. As a complete source for you landscape needs, McKay's modern facilities support the propagation, production & delivery of plants to over 20,000 customers per year.
